RESETTING THE FUTURE

On the morning of Friday the 13th, March 2020, hours before President Trump would convene a press conference unveiling a government task force deployed to contain an unprecedented modern day virus outbreak, I was driving on the 5 south towards Burbank, California, and a fleeting thought brushed past the curtain of my mind: it was the word "Reset."
Within a moment I knew I was tuning in to a message from God's Spirit. And it completely flipped how I was interpreting the growing pandemic. My fear instantly turned to hope. My angst turned to joy.
This is not in any way to say that what has and will happen during this challenging time will not be painful or devastating or even cost lives. Nonetheless, this plague will somehow be redeemed by God. He will bring good out of it. What hell intends for evil, God will turn around for good. And on the journey between today and to the end of the outbreak will be a battlefield.

That morning I immediately texted the following message to family and friends:
“I’m sensing the word ‘Reset’ today for the entire world. Which is needed before Reawakening, Renovation, Reclamation, and Restoration can be released.”
Since that day, many have echoed the same message. Just last evening, I heard pastor/teacher Kris Vallotton on a live podcast say, "I hear God saying the word 'reset.'"
Reset means: to “set again or differently.”
Here are the synonyms:
"restart, reboot, restore, re-establish, reinitialize, reinstate, readjust."
God is using the world wide shutdown to press those who are listening to His Spirit into silence, meditation, reflection, and change, for the purpose of restarting, rebooting, reestablishing, reinitializing, reinstating, and readjusting, so that we can enter healthfully into a personal and world-wide re-awakening, renovation, reclamation, and reformation of individuals, families, communities, society, culture, business, education, sciences, media, arts & entertainment, politics, government, and religion.
On that same day I also sensed the phrase: "Prolonged Snow Day."
If you grew up with snow you know what I mean. A snow day feels like Christmas. It feels like joy. On a snow day you can bundle up inside the house by a fire and watch TV or spend the whole day sledding.
We are on a RESET that can only happen if the world is shut down by an outside force, like a snowstorm. We are free to spend our "snow days" during this lockdown or quarantine however we wish. Some will binge on TV and movies. Some on reading. Some on home projects. Some on relationships. Some on sleep. Some on silence, meditation, and self-reflection. Some on starting new businesses. Some on denial and avoidance. Some on addictions and vices. Some on sacrificing their time and schedules for the sake of others.
However we spend our PROLONGED SNOW DAY will determine the effectiveness of our RESET and our PATH for the rest of 2020 and beyond.

REMEMBER THIS:
We are in time of RESET and RESTART in order to REEVALUATE and REALIGN our lives before we enter into a world-wide RE-AWAKENING and RE-ESTABLISHING for RENOVATION, RESTORATION, RECLAMATION, and REFORMATION of every area of culture and society.
